FREE NERVOUS SYSTEM QUIZ FOR WOMEN
Which Regulation Profile Are You?
Wired when you want to rest. Flat when you need to show up. Somewhere in between most of the time, and unsure what that actually means or what to do about it. Most of what you can find online speaks to a general pattern. Your nervous system is more specific than that.
✓ Designed by a registered psychologist, Natasha Kiemel-Incorvaia AHPRA PSY0001977411
✓ Psychoeducational only, not a diagnosis or clinical assessment
✓ Evidence-informed, not trend-based
✓ Relevant for burnout, chronic stress, wired-but-tired exhaustion, or difficulty feeling genuinely rested
✓ For any woman who is curious to learn more about her body, nervous system, or sensory regulation profile
The Regulation Profile Quiz is a free psychoeducational quiz designed by an Australian registered psychologist. It identifies your nervous system regulation profile, the sensory approach your body may naturally use when managing stress, and your current nervous system state, whether more activated, more shutdown, or closer to balance.
What You Will Receive
When you complete the quiz, your profile summary appears immediately on-screen. Over the following days, three follow-up emails build on your results:
✤ A fuller explanation of your profile and matched practices, within around 15 minutes
✤ A free masterclass recording on nervous system regulation
✤ A curated starter menu of practices to experiment with
This Quiz May Be Useful For You If...
✓ Feel tense, keyed up, or reactive, and then guilty about it
✓ Lie awake even when you are genuinely exhausted
✓ Finally sit down and cannot settle, so you scroll until you feel numb
✓ Have tried various strategies and none of them have quite shifted the underlying pattern
✓ Feel somewhere between chronically overloaded and completely flat, and neither makes sense to you
✓ Are simply curious about how your body and nervous system respond to stress
✓ Want something grounded in actual psychology, not another wellness trend
If any of this sounds familiar, understanding your own nervous system pattern is likely to be a more useful starting point than trying harder with strategies that were never really matched to you.
Why what you have already tried may not have helped
Many women experiencing chronic stress or signs of nervous system dysregulation (difficulty settling after a busy day, cycling between switched-on and flat, struggling to feel genuinely rested) find that generic strategies simply do not account for how their own body responds to stress. Some women are running in a persistent state of activation: tense, scanning, unable to switch off even when the day is done. Others move into shutdown: flat, numb, going through the motions. Many cycle between both. If you do not know your own pattern, you end up trying things designed for someone else, and it is hard to know why they are not working.
Your Regulation Profile helps you understand which pattern is most present for you, and which strategies are more likely to feel like a fit.
What Makes this Quiz Different From Other Nervous System Quizzes
It reflects clinical experience working with women navigating stress, burnout, and nervous system dysregulation, and is consistent with research on sensory emotion regulation (Doré et al., 2023) and established psychological principles about stress, nervous systems, and behaviour change. Most nervous system quizzes only measure how activated or shut down you are. This one also looks at how your body may naturally try to regulate through sensation, across movement, sound, touch, scent, and sight, which is not something you will find in other quizzes in this space.
It does not leave you with a result and nothing else. What follows is a structured email sequence: a deeper explanation of your profile and matched practices, an explanation of your current nervous system state with a free masterclass recording, and a curated starter menu of practices.
It was designed by a registered psychologist, drawing on the same foundational framework used in clinical practice.
About Natasha, the psychologist behind
The Regulation Profile Quiz
I am Natasha Kiemel-Incorvaia, a registered psychologist in Australia (AHPRA PSY0001977411) with over 15 years of training in psychology and over 10 years of experience working with women. My clinical training includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), somatic approaches and EMDR, and my work focuses on helping women understand their stress patterns and build small, realistic skills that fit into actual daily life.
In my clinical work, I kept seeing the same pattern. Women who were outwardly capable and inwardly exhausted, carrying professional, caregiving, and relational loads that rarely got named for what they were. Most of them had tried things. They had the apps, the advice, the awareness. What they were missing was a clear, structured starting point matched to how their own body worked.
This quiz is built on that same foundation.
